How one of our customers went from a stock 2015 S1000RR to a 232whp Brentuning Moto Monster
When we first talked to Troy, it was on the S1000RR forum. He was searching for flash solution for his 2015 S1000RR that didn’t involve going into the engine. He would be the first person to tell you that he had his doubts regarding our flashes and how much power can be gained from them. He already had a Power Commander, full Arrow Exhaust and an air filter. His bike was independently tested at Cunningham Motorsports in Southern California and dyno’d 190whp with MR12. He needed more power. After a few phone calls and a lot of questions, Troy purchased our Stage 2 flash for his S1000RR. He was on his was to California’s “Shift-S3ctor” event (standing half mile) and wanted to ensure he left with a trophy.. he wasn’t disappointed. The dyno data from his original Stage 2 flash was corrupted so we are unable to show you power gains but the results are real. First place in trap speed against a variety of sport bikes, including multiple S1000RR’s. His bike was going at 5mph faster than any other naturally aspirated bike on the grid. Keep in mind Troy’s bike is a stock wheelbase with only a Brock’s front strap.

Troy didn’t stop there. After seeing what Brentuning Moto could do for his bike he asked for more and we delivered. He as one of the first people to get our “Alpha N” tune on his bike. Keep in mind his bike baselined 190whp. After the “Alpha N” flash he was making 216whp! Huge gain over stock. Not to mention he got better launch control and unlocking the ECU that opens up 25 additional (inaccessible) maps in the ECU (including transmission ECU logic).
Troy took this new power to the next Shift-S3ctor event in California and cleaned house. Every other S1000RR was trapping in the high 160’s to low 170’s while Troy managed to get 180mph. This was achieved in 4000DA. Pretty impressive.

Troy wasn’t done there. He wanted to beat 180mph. The next step was our Stage 2 Cam Package. These are our own cams that are exclusively made through us with our own grind specs. Stock idle and and big gains. Troy installed these cams and saw the biggest gain we’ve ever seen in our Stage 2 Cams, 16whp on his own dyno. Keep in mind this is the same dyno he had been using since his start with us in 2015. This is a mustang dyno just like ours and it’s nice to see independent testing that mirrored our same results.

The dyno graph below shows the gains from the “Alpha N” to adding cams. You can see how there is no loss in power and huge gains on the top end of the RPM range. You can see where the stock cams start to lay over but our Stage 2 cams carry power all the way to the limiter with more to go. Cams add 16whp! (As tested independently by a third party dyno)
Troy went out to the next Shift-S3ctor event (February 2017) and got first place in trap speed again! This time he managed to reach 183mph. This bike is fast!
