The BrenTuning Team is hard at work analyzing data from the new 2017 BMW S1000RR and we’re almost there. The piggybacks we have tested had a very hard time working with the new EU ecu found in the 17′ S1000RR’s. It always had a way of reverting back to what it wanted and circumventing any changes. Many other third party users have reported equal frustration with fuel and ignition piggybacks that worked decent on their older S1000RR’s. This is because the EU4 ecu has drivers and algorithms to meet or exceed emissions standards at all temperatures and riding modes, to satisfy the emissions systems.
Stage 1 and 2 mapping will be available very soon (Stage 1 first!) and suited for different exhaust systems and the factory system as well.
