WHY WOULD YOU NEED THIS?

-If you’re trying to repurpose your diagnostic tool for use on a different motorcycle (PLEASE NOTE: Your motorcycle may need a new cable to attach the diagnostic tool to the motorcycle.  In this case you may call or email us directly so we can help).

-You’ve gone to the dealer, they updated your motorcycle’s ECU software and now your diagnostic tool won’t work with the motorcycle (PLEASE NOTE: This only happens if you bring the bike to the dealer on the tuned file. If you bring it to the dealer on the stock file a $100 retuning fee will be applied to retune, please contact your sales rep for more info).

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BUY?

-If you recently visited your dealer while your motorcycle had the BrenTuning Moto custom mapping on it, you’ll need to purchase re-mapping AND you’ll need to select the option to reset your handheld.  That total is $250.  The $150 we charge to reset the handheld is what the manufacturer of the handheld charges us for the reset code.  Once reset you’ll need new mapping to match your new software version.  This is the $100 fee.

-If you put your bike back to the stock flash using our diagnostic tool and find that there’s an error putting the BrenTuning Moto custom mapping back on to your bike after a dealer visit, you’ll just need the re-mapping.  DO NOT PURCHASE THE DIAGNOSTIC TOOL RESET IF THIS IS YOUR SITUATION.  There will be no need for it.  The diagnostic tool reset is only if you went to the dealer with the BrenTuning Moto flash installed on your bike.

We realize accidents happen and no one wants to pay more for the same thing they had before.  BrenTuning Moto is offering upgrade specials for people that are in this situation.  Current customers that are in this situation can call or email us for specials to upgrade to the newest flash (if applicable to your motorcycle).  In exchange for upgrading your mapping, we will eliminate the $100 mapping fee.
