A new product to the market with 3 years of testing. Meant to complement our existing S1000RR success we picked the next most popular bike that has a big void in tuning.
First we offer the best in Ducati reading / writing and diagnostics working along side DimSport, seen in other markets. This device branded under BrenTuning, can store multiple maps, read and clear diagnostic codes, and trigger adaptation features found only in dealer tools. We then studied the market and sought after what was most important to current owners and what was missing in current offerings.
Our main priorities were offering an easy solution to those who want to load and go and have the best features enabled, and have the ability to work with current fuel and ignition device and add to the feature list for those who want to customize.
We started with the RACE ecu base, not the watered down US version, but the fully functional race IDs for all the Ducati models. This enables many features not found in a standard Ducati bike and then we took it many steps further. We got rid of the vertical and horizontal fueling style and converted each ECU to an Alpha-N style fueling model for increases in power, response, and accurate fueling models. After this we made several corrections and additions to the RACE ecu, based off common complaints and known issues with the mapping and driveability. Lastly we dyno tuned the bikes for maximum power on all fuels in all weather, using the two exhausts we found through extensive testing to work best for power, Terminogi and Akrapovic, along with stock and gutted cans. You can have the option of tuned AFRs for acn91, 93, MR12, U4.4, MS109. Maps are preloaded and can offer a wide range of use, including OEM for diagnostic or dealer visits. No need to read out the original, our device ID’s the existing tune and pre-uploads the tunes required.
We also designed our flashes to work with all other mapping devices on the market if you chose to, RapidBike, PC5, Bazazz but offer so much more then fuel and ignition offset.

Full Feature Map Upgrade!
We strive to make our products better and better. After a long BETA testing period, we are ready to release some additional race and power features to our Ducati 899/959/1199/1299 Panigale mapping. New add-ons include 1:1 fly by wire throttle, OEM warm idle stalling fix, revised ignition strategy for 93 and race fuels, bank balancing, EVAP canister and kickstand removal on/off (for race bikes only), injector balancing and lowered cooling fan temps ON. Customers will notice a large change in rideability, increased power and smoothness, a stronger idle, along with better heat transfer and management that many have grown accustom to dealing with the Ducati bikes nuisances.
This upgrade is available for all current Ducati handheld owners and available as a separate purchase add-on for new customers.
THE BRENTUNING HANDHELD TUNER
WHAT IS A HANDHELD TUNER AND WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING ONE?
Thoroughly tested by our own engineers, not just for its function but also durability. We purposefully dropped this thing about 100 times just to make sure if you accidentally dropped it, it would still be a usable device.
So why buy it when you can just send in your ECU for flashing and spend less?
Let’s see the breakdown.
NO DOWNTIME – No need to send in your ECU or remove it from your bike at all. You order the handheld, it gets delivered to you, you flash your bike. You never miss a day of riding and no effort removing the ECU.
STORE MULTIPLE MAPS – When you send in your ECU, you only get one map. You might be thinking, “why would I need more than one map?”. Storing multiple maps means you’re able to flash for different fuels. If you’re a serious track competitor, we can work with you to get you different mapping for different tracks. If, for example, you’re add an exhaust to your stock bike, we can email you a file that takes the new exhaust into account with the changes you need to optimize your S1000RR’s new modifications.
GO BACK TO STOCK ANYTIME – Not only can you store multiple race maps, you can also flash the original, stock file back into the bike at any time and for any reason.
READ AND CLEAR ENGINE FAULTS – If for some reason you have an engine light, you’re able to plug in our handheld tuner and read the codes from it. Using the codes you’re able to determine the issue with the bike. Sometimes these codes make the Engine Light come on. Even after the issue is fixed the engine light can stay on for a dealer to clear or stay on for a certain amount of key cycles. The handheld can clear these codes. As long as the issue is fixed, the handheld will eliminate the engine light.
**** Our handheld tuning device requires the use of a windows based computer. The handheld and the computer never need to be next to each other and the software is non-invasive. This means a desktop or work computer should be just fine. The file download for the software is around 60MB which you will have to download from the internet. If you do not have access to a windows computer, the internet or are not proficient with a computer and downloading / uploading things from the internet, please consider our mail in ECU tuning service. ****
**** Two fuel options/maps are available with your purchase, we can do a low octane and high octane option, if you have additional requests they can be included at an additional $100/per map fee, this can cover additional fuel qualities or modification sets. ****
**** Please for best results, make sure your motorcycle has been updated at the dealer to newest software available before purchase. If the bike is under warranty, this will be a free update. If the bike is out of warranty they will charge (1) hour labor to do this. This will avoid any issues with future updates (for the most part) and avoid us having to remap the bike for new software. A $100 remap fee will be charged for new mapping after a dealer updates your ECU. Please always put the handheld back to stock before bringing to the dealer for any updates, to avoid unlocking charges on the handheld. ****
